Workshops
Each workshop is about two hours, live online, in a small group. You build one useful thing with AI and take it home. Take one, or all four in a theme.
What's new at Handwerk AI
Tell us what you'd like to learn or make with AI, and hear about intro classes and workshops. At most two emails a month.
How every workshop runs
Whatever you're making, every workshop follows the same four steps. You decide what you want, build a first version with AI, look for what's wrong with it, and improve it until it's worth keeping. The same loop works on your own projects afterward.
Two ways to join
These are examples, not a fixed list. The workshops in each theme below show the kind of thing you can make. New workshops are added based on what people want to build. Have an idea? Suggest one.
Practical projects for your household, your family history, and your plans. Example workshops:
Turn a year of utility and card statements into one chart, and find the charge you didn't notice.
Merge two sides of the family into one tree that doesn't drop a sibling or mix up a generation.
Restore and colorize an old family photo you can print and share.
Compare options, costs and timing for a real trip, and end with a plan you can act on.
For students, job-seekers and career-changers who need application materials that are strong and true. Example workshops:
Tailor your résumé to a real posting.
Brainstorm, outline and get feedback on an application essay.
Build one small project you can show an employer or admissions office and explain.
Practice answers with an AI interviewer and get specific feedback.
For curious people of any age: learn something your own way, go deep on a topic, or make something to share. Example workshops:
Set up an AI coach that explains things three different ways and quizzes you as you learn.
Build a small playable story or game you can share with a link.
Research something you care about and turn it into a short, well-sourced brief you can share.
Give an assistant standing instructions and reference notes so it helps the same way every time.
The workshops above are examples. New ones are added based on what people want to build.
If you have a project in mind that doesn't fit these themes, a club website, a volunteer schedule, a recipe collection, anything, tell us about it. If several people want the same thing, it becomes a workshop. If it's just you, a one-on-one workshop may be the right fit.
